Lord of the Flies
Serenity
It’s about the second week on the Island and we’ve been having some struggles now and then. I’m starting to see some heat flare up between Jack and Ralph, they’re starting to become very blatant with one another. Piggy seems to get on everybody’s last nerve, but if you really listen to him you could find he’s a very well put together young lad. On the other hand, Roger was just terrible; he was pickin’ on the young ones. He was very belligerent toward them, and not only that, little Johnny does the same to Percival. Oh, that Jack, a bad seed that’s what he is a bad seed. Now he has this intense obsession with hunting. While me and Ralph were working on the shelter all Jack could think about was to kill a stupid pig. Ya know, I’m not the one to raise my voice but them people push me so far it’s impalpable to the point where silence would hold no balm. Everyone’s acting very malevolent to each other. The sun has amplified the swarthiness of are skin and that’s really all that’s happened. There’s tons of chaos and that’s just not for me. I like to get away; I just hope we can stand each other a little while longer.

I thought your journal entry was very decriptive and specific. I really liked how you told the reader everything that was going on throughout the island. I would have known exactly what the chapter was about without even reading it. One of the things you may want to work on is including more detail on Simon's thoughts, feelings and emotions, but overall your journal evtry was very well done.

Elijah-
i really enjoyed reading this pose because it made me laugh a lot. especially when you put 'he's a put together young lad" You used the vocab words very appropriately. The way you put yourself as Simon was very good.
