Pg. #156 Paragraph #2 “When bob called to tell me that papa was in the hospital, I leaped out of bed and boarded the next plane to New York”

I chose this quote because it was a drastic part of the book she knows that these are his final days on earth, and this might be his time. I'm sure that her skin is crawling and her hearts racing as she receives this message. I think that she doesn’t know what to do or where to go or even how to breathe at this point. I know that if someone I cared about might leave me I would try really hard to even stay sane.

Pg. #207 Paragraph #1 “I wanted very much to be in New York with my father, so I closed my eyes and imagined myself there; I am sitting on the edge of his bed and were watching my fathers’ favorite game show, The Price Is Right, on television.”

I chose this quote because her father is getting worse especially with the stress of the uncle dying isn’t really helping him recover. Now it’s sort of a waiting game to see what happens next. I bet eats probably eating away at the whole family.

I think that maybe both the uncle and the dad might die. And possibly on the same day or something strange like that.
