Lord of the flies
Ch #7

Kill the Beast
Yeah kill the beast slash his throat and spill it’s blood. Can’t wait to finally kill that thing I just hope old buzz kill Ralph doesn’t spoil it or go crying for his mommy. Ha that would kill my day he is such a dun person. As we walked it started to grow dark and the brine on our body’s stopped glistening. Ralph was tremendously bravado when he said we must go back. There was absolutely no way I was going back without the beast cold and lifeless at my feet. I gave quite an argument I knew he was just scared so I decided to poke fun at him; boy was he red with fury. He claimed that he was not scared, he then said sagely that if we were to stay past dark we were to send a messenger to Piggy saying we’ll come back after dark. Suck’s to Piggy that pompous little troll really get’s under my skin.
Then Simon spoke up and said that he’d go. No matter what we said he was impervious to our words he had already made up his mind and left without a second thought. That left Roger, Ralph, and I to fight the beastie. We walked and walked and could find no sign of it. Then we thought what if he’s back at the mountain were the twins had seen it. We went there as fast as we could but as soon as we got there darkness had almost completely surrounded us. I told the others to start climbing and just as expected they both had cold feet. They refused to come so I went alone. I began m ascent slowly up the mountain my spear at hand. Then I reached the top it was almost completely black out. Then I saw it, it was a big ferocious looking monster. I was petrified I felt like I was literally coming out of my skin. I ran down and did not look back when I reached the bottom I told the others. Forget what I said I wanted to go.
